Antonia Brewer is a senior associate and experienced employment law solicitor at Thomas Mansfield Solicitors. She provides clear and commercial employment law advice and strategy for employers, senior executives and professionals across a wide range of industries.

Her work spans both advisory and contentious matters, including drafting and reviewing employment contracts and service agreements, managing complex workplace disputes, advising on all aspects of discrimination, TUPE, redundancy, disciplinary and grievance processes, whistleblowing and negotiating exits. She is also regularly instructed as a settlement agreement solicitor, acting for both employer and executive clients, in particular C-suite and senior level executives.

Notable work

  • Advised a senior board member on discrimination and whistleblowing claims, and negotiated a favourable outcome.
  • Advised employer client on union dispute and illegality of proposed union action, which led to a resolution of the underlying dispute and prevented a further escalation and bad publicity for the employer.
  • Defended a senior executive in High Court injunction for breach of restrictive covenants.
  • Advised a senior Board level executive on claims in respect of unpaid notice, commission and bonus, with proceedings to be issued at both High Court and Employment Tribunal.
